1. What you are reading
StreamChoice Lab is an editorial website publishing independent checks of consumer devices. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
2. Information, not advice
Everything here is published for general information. It is not legal, financial or professional advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy anything. You are responsible for your own purchasing decisions.
3. What our checks are, and are not
Unless a page states plainly that we tested a device, our checks are documentary: we read what a seller publishes and report it. Where we have not held a product we do not describe its performance, and we say so on the page. Any statement about a specification, a price or a term is a report of what the seller published on the date given, not a warranty of the product.
4. We are not the seller
We do not sell, ship, warrant or refund any product discussed on this site. Your purchase contract is with the seller you buy from and is governed by their terms. All questions about orders, delivery, warranty and refunds go to them. We cannot intervene in a transaction, cancel an order or issue a refund.
5. Affiliate links
Links to sellers are affiliate links, labelled as such, and may earn us a commission. Your price is unchanged. We do not accept payment from sellers to publish, to remove criticism or to raise a rating.
6. Accuracy and change
Prices, terms, specifications and product pages change without notice, and pages here may become out of date between updates. Always check the seller’s own current page and final checkout screen before buying. We correct errors when they are pointed out to us — see the imprint.
7. Third-party sites
We link to sites we do not control and are not responsible for their content, their terms or their privacy practices.
8. Intellectual property
The text and original graphics on this site belong to the publisher. Product names, brand names, logos and product photographs belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and commentary. You may quote from this site with attribution and a link; please do not republish pages wholesale.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the content of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights against a seller.
